Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

Draft — pending owner and legal approval. Some commitments here (including the post-cancellation deletion period, setup-fee refund terms, and liability limits) are still under review and may change before they are final.

VentCRM exists to run a legitimate home-service business. This policy applies to every VentCRM system we host and to the public demo.

You may not use VentCRM to

  • Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, or text or email people who have not given your business the required consent — see the SMS Policy. Honoring opt-outs (like STOP replies) is mandatory.
  • Harass, threaten, or defraud anyone, or send content that is illegal or deceptive.
  • Store data you have no right to hold, or upload malicious code or content.
  • Probe, overload, or attempt to break the service, other operators’ systems, or the public demo — including automated scraping of the demo or attempts to bypass its limits.
  • Resell or share your system with businesses that aren’t yours; each subscription covers one operating business.

Enforcement

If use of a system violates this policy, we’ll normally reach out first and give you a chance to fix it. For serious abuse — illegal activity, messaging abuse that threatens our texting registrations, attacks on the infrastructure — we may suspend first and talk second. Data-export rights under the Cancellation & Data Export Policy survive enforcement, except where the law prevents it.
